Omerica Tree Program: We plant trees to offset our wood consumption. On average we plant 700 + trees for each one we use. We have these trees planted with The Nature Conservancy, click here to learn more about this organization. Our Member # is 11882381. We are happy to have planted 4,085 trees through our tree program and anouther 4,681 from an Event we Co Sponsored, this totalling 8,766 trees. We can work together to plant thousands of trees, and help to off set yours and our carbon imprint.
Wind Power: Feel good knowing that our products are made with 100% wind energy. We purchase 100% wind energy from Excel Energy’s WindSource program. We encurage you to look into your local energy company's eco friendly energy options to see if there is a fit for you and your budget. Renewable energy is becoming more affordable becuase of the demands that the consumer (YOU) are putting on the industry. Demand more! Get More!
Fact: We can make thousands of products from one tree. So that one tree used will result in thousands of new trees being planted. We feel that it’s only right to keep a balance in this
world. We as people can’t keep taking and not giving back. So, we will help you do yours and our
part in this process. Do keep in mind that this is just helping in the fight against global climate change, so please do try to research and demand more out of the businesses you do business with. All businesses want the sale, so make them earn it!
We at omerica organic see global warming as a real problem. The facts are in! So we are doing all we can to bring our company into the new standards when working with the new threat of global warming. We now purchase 100% wind power to run our machines, plant trees to offset our wood consumption, only use recycled shipping matter, recycle, buy used whenever possible, have a very efficient shop, save all small scraps for future products, and keep researching and planning the implementation of better, cleaner, smarter ways to run our business in a more efficient manner.
We still have much more work to do before we can call ourselves 100 percent sustainable. We will not stop working on our sustainability until we reach that goal. We believe all companies need to adopt this new way of thinking. So as a client we ask you to shop with companies that are trying to push the new era of green thinking and living.
